The time is here, Reunion Time!
Even though we have lost a few loved ones, some are ill and others have other plans to which they can’t be in two places at one time. I would like to take the time now to thank the family members whom has made an effort to still attend our family reunion. The numbers are few, far, and in between but God has allowed the few of us to carry on in spite of in the city of Toledo, Ohio

HOTEL ACCOMMENDATIONS

Even though hotel reservations have been made, upon your arrival, family members may not be able to check-in until 3 pm unless I get notification for an early check-in @ Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, 3536 Secor Rd 419-535-7070.PICNIC SITE

If so everyone should be heading to the picnic@ Trilby Park

located on 3125 Shawnee Rd,Toledo Oh. 43613 off of Secor Rd 10 minutes from the Hotel,Friday 15th @ 12 noon until 6pm, then we will return to the Hospitality Room in Parlor Room A-1116 at the hotel for family members whom like to stay up and play games,snack on light appetizers, or rest in your rooms or go for a swim at the hotel Ramada Inn on 3536 Secor Rd, Toledo, Oh 43606.

MEMORIAL BANQUET DINNER AND DANCE

Dress to Impress Formal Wear for our Memorial Banquet Dinner/ Dance will be on Saturday evening from the hours of 5pm-11pm. If any family members have photography skills, please feel free to take pictures of everyone wherever you are to share for memories. Saturday 10am-3pm will be the times of family gathering events or free time to go wherever you please. By 5pm we will be at the All Occasions Banquet Hall @ 3419 Hill Ave, Toledo, Oh to finalize and enjoy one another company.

CHURCH SERVICES

Sunday, checkout time is 12 noon not unless you have made arrangements to stay another day. Church services is @ Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church located at 2102 Mulberry Street, Toledo, Ohio 43608. 1558425_1260445417329739_4828664738025825692_n Sunday services are as follows Sunday school starts @ 9 am, Worship Service starts at 10:45.. if you wish to attend I suggest you pack your luggage for checkout time before heading to Sunday morning services.
The itinerary, goodie bags, t-shirts, name badges, and information on Toledo will be handed out at the Park or Hotel as everyone arrives.

Pray for the reunion, the family(young and old), the sick and shut in, caregivers, traveling grace for our family members, and family whose children that will be entering college, military, or the workforce.. Love one another as Christ loved us.

Toledo Hodges Family Reunion Time is Near

Hello Family,

Come Family we got to do better than the 7 family members that have turned in their reunion money for July 15-17, 2016. We can’t let things just fade away and cause our family to grow further and further apart. I have already paid for venues for at least 100 family members that I pray to God that we come together once again. There will be plenty for all ages to do. There will be a raffle for a cruise for 2 anywhere you choose worth $543 that will never expire., a TV anywhere from 40-50 inch will be in the raffle, also hair products will be included in raffle as well. If anyone would like to join us on our family cruise April 2017 to the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten for 7 days on the Royal Caribbean, Oasis of the Seas ship, you will have your chance to meet the cruise agent during our reunion if you like. this cruise is to be paid in full by December 14, 2016. The first family to show up for the reunion will receive a prize. I would like to have plenty for all by including zumba, which is an exercise, bounce houses, face painting, a gospel comedian, corn shucking contest, fish fry, and also a 70s’s or 80’s dance. There is plenty of places to go and enjoy, if you have never been to Toledo and there is something you like to do when you reach the city of Toledo take a look at Destination Toledo and let me know if you like to venture out to do while you will be here in Toledo visiting. Come one, Come all and let us fellowship together the young and the old. Looking at the picture above we have alot of family that was not able to be in attendance but please make it your business to attend.

I have to get your input on how many would be willing to attend the family reunion picnic on a Sunday after church service instead of a Saturday? Reason being is because Saturday is already taken and any other park, the space is too small or don’t have all accommodations we might need. Im trying to lookout for the entire family. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome Hodges Family

Welcome Family,
Are we getting ready and prepared to make our way to join the rest of the family in Toledo, Ohio 2016? The arrangements are being prepared for you and me to enjoy. Hotel rooms have been blocked and you may now start to make your reservations at this time. All that will be participating in the reunion will be sent a registration form to fill out and sent back to me via email or mail so that I can get a head count for the food, t-shirts, and transportation.
The reunion dates are as follow July 15-17, 2016. On Friday, July 15, 2016 will be our meet and get acquainted session from 4-6pm, On Saturday, July 16, 2016 there will be time for our family to choose an activity i.e. shopping, outings to the different venues such as Toledo Zoo, Toledo Art Museum, Toledo Science Imagination Station, or Toledo Botanical Garden, etc. at 12 noon until 4pm a family picnic and activities will be at Trilby Park (3125 Shawnee Rd. Toledo, Oh 43613), then at 6:45-8pm we will gather back at the hotel Radisson Hotel( 3100 Glendale Avenue Toledo, OH 43614), for a memorial and dinner ceremony with photos being taken for our future reunions and then we will gather together to have a 70’s dance. Sunday, July 17, 2016 there will be church service at my church Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church located at 2102 Mulberry St for those that would like to get in a spiritual word before heading back to our final destinations.
My prayers are that we find time in our busy schedules to make this reunion and other future reunion s a special and non-forgetting experience that will carry memories forever and ever.

It’s time to gear up for our 2016 family reunion! Please do not assume everyone sees this. Spread the word to family members.

There are 35 Double Beds and 40 King Beds on hold for us to come together once again at $90 a night. The hotel is Ramada Hotel & Conference Center.

Contact the Hotel directly @ (419) 535-7070 and identify yourself as a part of the Hodges Family Reunion Group. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. The cut-off date for reservations is June 14, 2016, any reservations made thereafter will be taken on space available basis.

I’m so excited and my prayer is to let us all do things decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40)

It was great seeing everyone at the Hodges Family Reunion! Sorry I didn’t get to talk much and hang out, but we were running around a tad bit. Just know that I love you and next year when we’re in Ohio for the Family Reunion, it’s on! Stay Tuned!
